Seasons to Be Careful

Monsoon (Not recommended)

  • Leech-infested trails in lower regions
  • Poor mountain visibility

 Winter (Challenging but possible)

  • Very cold at high altitude
  • Snow may block passes (Thorong La, etc.)
  • Good for short and low-altitude treks
