The Everest Base Camp trek is the most iconic trekking adventure in Nepal, taking you through the heart of the Khumbu region. This classic journey combines cultural immersion, breathtaking Himalayan scenery, and the thrill
of standing at the foot of the world’s highest mountain. The trek reaches its highest point at Kala Pattar (5,550m), offering the best panoramic view of Mt. Everest.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Relax and recover from your journey.
Enjoy a half-day guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) or Pashupatinath. In the afternoon, attend a trek briefing and check your gear for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive through hills, rivers, and villages to Ramechhap (Manthali). Overnight stay before your mountain flight the next
morning.
Take a thrilling mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest. Begin your trek along the Dudh Koshi River, passing prayer wheels and stone chortens,
before reaching Phakding.
A short and pleasant walk-through pine forests and small Sherpa villages
leads to Monjo, the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park.
Cross suspension bridges and climb steadily uphill to reach Namche Bazaar,
the vibrant Sherpa capital with cafés, shops, and mountain views.
A rest day for acclimatization. Hike up to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for
stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Visit the Sherpa Museum and enjoy exploring Namche market.
Walk through rhododendron forests and enjoy views of Everest and Ama Dablam before reaching Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. Overnight in Tengboche or nearby Deboche.
Descend to the Imja Khola and climb steadily past Pangboche to Dingboche,
a picturesque village surrounded by stone walls and farmland.
Cross the Thukla Pass and climb past memorial chortens dedicated to
climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue along the glacial valley to
Lobuche.
A short trek brings you to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base
Camp. After lunch, hike to the legendary Everest Base Camp, surrounded by dramatic icefalls and glaciers. Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Climb early in the morning to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek, for
breathtaking sunrise views over Everest and surrounding peaks. Descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast, then trek down to Pheriche.
Retrace your steps through Pangboche and Tengboche, descending along the Dudh Koshi valley to Namche Bazaar.
An easier downhill walk back through forested trails and suspension bridges,
reaching Phakding.
The final day of trekking takes you back to Lukla. Celebrate the successful
completion of your trek with your team.
Enjoy a scenic 20-minute flight back to Ramechhap and drive onward to
Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and relax.
A free day for rest, shopping, or exploring more of Kathmandu’s cultural sites. A farewell dinner can be arranged.
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
