Overview

Itinerary

Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest and briefing about the trek.

Half-day city tour to UNESCO sites. Final gear check and trek preparation.

Overnight at Ramechhap for next morning flight.

A scenic flight, followed by an easy trek through rhododendron and pine forests.

A long day with gradual ups and downs, following the Hinku River valley.

Trek through yak pastures and glacial moraines with excellent views of Kusum Kanguru.

Optional short hike to Charpate Himal glacier (5,000 m) for altitude adjustment.

Steep climb through rocky trails, arriving at Khare, the base for Mera Peak.

Climbing training and gear practice with ropes, crampons, and ice axe.

A gradual climb over the Mera La pass (5,415 m) and up to High Camp on rocky terrain. Overnight in tent.

Early alpine start (2–3 am). Climb with crampons and rope support to the summit of Mera Peak, the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga. Descend back to Khare.

Retrace steps through glacial moraines and yak pastures.

Descend along the Hinku valley, with easier downhill trails.

Long final trekking day with forest and Sherpa village scenery.

Transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.

Rest, shopping, or optional cultural sightseeing.

Final departure transfer to airport.
