Descend through terraced fields and small villages. Meet local villagers and observe rural life. Overnight in Chirwa, a peaceful settlement with traditional houses.
Trail climbs gradually through lush forest and traditional Limbu villages. Beautiful rhododendron forests and stone-paved trails lead to Lelep. Overnight in a local lodge.
The path follows the Ghunsa Khola, gradually becoming steeper. Forested slopes, streams, and waterfalls accompany the trek.
Trek through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests. Gyabla is a quiet village where you can experience local culture and hospitality.
Enter a Tibetan-style village with wooden houses and prayer flags. Ghunsa is a beautiful village at the base of Kanchenjunga’s eastern face. Explore the village and enjoy views of nearby peaks.
Rest day for acclimatization. Short hikes around the village for photography, exploration, and visiting the local monastery. This helps adjust to higher altitudes.
Trek through alpine terrain, passing glacial streams and sparse vegetation. Enjoy stunning views of Jannu Himal. Kambachen is a serene campsite in a high valley.
Open moraine valleys and breathtaking mountain landscapes dominate the trail. Lhonak is a small settlement near glaciers and ideal for acclimatization.
Hike to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp, the ultimate viewpoint of the Kanchenjunga North Face. Enjoy close-up views of towering peaks before returning to Lhonak.
Retrace your steps through moraine valleys and alpine meadows back to Ghunsa. Witness the dramatic change in landscapes as you descend.
Steep climb through rhododendron and pine forests. Camp near Sele La for the next day’s high pass crossing. The scenery is spectacular with surrounding peaks and valleys.
Cross two high passes with awe-inspiring panoramic views of Makalu, Kumbakarna, and Kanchenjunga. Cheram offers a cozy resting place after a long day of trekking.
Descend through forests and riverside trails, passing small villages. Tortong is a peaceful settlement ideal for overnight rest.

Return to lowland Nepal via scenic roads. The trek officially ends here. Overnight in Birtamod.
